As all gluten free bakers know, you have to start with a good gluten free flour mix that will compliment what is being made.  At Snowy Owl Bakery, we have come up with some awesome mixes that compliment our bakery items well.  Five years ago, we began developing mixes just for bread.  After a few years we added new ideas for cookies, sweet breads and other baked items.  We have now almost come full circle with most of what gluten free folks are looking for.  And the best part of Snowy Owl Bakery is, that if we haven't got what you need, we will take a custom order.  We take special dietary needs, celiac, food allergies and sensitivites seriously  and come up with a product just for you.  We began this way 7 years ago, and feel it is important in serving the needs of every one, especially young children, who are for whatever reason, struggling to find school snacks and other old favorites like pizza crust  and hotdogs buns that taste good.  We have a cinnamon swirl breakfast bread that is out of this world!

 

We continue  to produce our original basic breads, and custom orders, and over the past couple of years have added items like sweet and savory breads, cookies, and cakes, as well as special orders for donuts and bagels, etc.

 

Along with the basic line that we make, we offer individualized supergrain loaves.  We utilize combinations of  7 grains, almond meal/flour, and other various nut flours if special ordered, and 8 other types of flours in our bread mixes.  We also use healthy oils such as canola, olive oil and coconut oil as well as butter.  This allows us to be able to accomodate your special needs for custom orders.  

 

Our kitchen is  dedicated to being gluten free.  We are also able to bake both Paleo and Wheatbelly orders.  As always, remember that gluten free product is preservative free and therefore needs to be kept in the freezer until use, and in the refrigerator when in use.  Slices can be warmed or toasted the way you like them. Holiday Baskets will be available with gluten free goodies during Christmas and Easter seasons.  We are happy to ship products to wherever you are!
